Since the discovery of the oil, the world has become heavily dependent on oil usage. Oil is the biggest source of energy. It is used by everybody on the planet as source of energy. Without it, the movement and production of the world will stop and the world would face great danger and possibly destruction. Although it was and is the driver of the great development the modern world accomplished, it was found that it has big threat to world environment. Despite searching alternative source of energy is very active, I believe finding equivalent sources is very difficult in the coming decades.

Discovering oil was very great fortune on one side, and very big misfortune on the other side. Big factories, transportation systems, heavy duty machines all depend on oil for functioning. The production of anything we see and need for our daily life whether they are necessary or luxuries are the result of oil usage. Our life heavily depends on oil.

On the other hand, oil usage causes very big problem ecologically. Many people of today’s world would wish if oil would not be discovered despite of its contribution to the birth of the modern world. As we see, the world climate is becoming hot and acidic day after day. These gradually increasing hotness and acidity are the result of the carbon emission of the machines that use oil. Carbon causes the world to become like greenhouse. There are many other problems that using oil causes such as, floods, droughts etc.

There are many restless efforts undergoing to find alternative sources of energy. Many places in the world have already introduced new sources of energy that are almost safe to ecosystem but are very small compared to the oil. One of these sources is hydro power which, moving water is used to produce energy instead of oil. Hydro power is the biggest alternative source of energy.  The solar power and wind power are also other fast growing sources of energy.  In general, the overall contribution of these alternative sources of energy is so limited according to oil.

Finally, oil will remain the biggest source of energy globally, which means the world climate will deteriorate and the world is becoming bad place to live. However, the new sources of energy which are mentioned above created hope. We, the people of the world hope that these new sources take the position oil stays regarding to us now.

Global warming is a current problem. Many types of research conducted by many researchers indicated that the temperatures heightened and still continue to heighten. Melting of polar icebergs is a big indication that the world is warmer than it was. In addition to that, it appears that there is a relationship between pollution levels and the global warming. Global warming is the biggest threat ever faced the lives on the green planet. This essay discusses the global warming.

Global warming is a big problem that the modernization of the world created. Before the discovery and the usage of the oil, carbon dioxide contents in the atmosphere were stable. There were little bit increase and little bit decrease of the carbon dioxide content of the air. The manmade influence of the carbon dioxide content fluctuation in the air was non-existent before the introduction of the oil. That means the man took its part to influence the carbon dioxide level in the air. They caused the level of carbon dioxide to soar than never before.

Researchers of the global warming indicated that the globe is becoming warmer and warmer time after time. It is predicted that if the increase of the warmth on the earth continues, the danger of the life on the earth from global warming will also continue to increase. As the amount of carbon dioxide in air increases so does the warmness on the earth. Global warming is the greatest threat from the human in particular to human and the other lives on the planet.

Therefore, unless decrease occurs to the emission of carbon dioxide, hotness soaring of the globe will never stop. The biggest barrier for the reduction of the carbon dioxide emission is a lack of agreement between superpowers that are the largest producers of carbon dioxide to the air. I believe that it is not easy to reach agreement about reducing carbon emission because, if it is easy, an agreement would be reached before things became worse since the effect of the warmth on the earth is danger facing any human on the green planet.
